A/R:  40-Year-Old Man Dies in Gas Explosion at Fawoade

A devastating incident has occurred at Fawoade in the Ashanti Region, where a 40-year-old man lost his life in a gas explosion.

 According to reports, the explosion happened when a carbide cylinder the deceased was working with at a shop suddenly went off.

The Assembly Member for the area, Hon Joseph Addo, revealed to OTEC News that the victim’s head was completely severed in the blast.

The police have taken over the scene and are investigating the matter.

 The body has been conveyed to the hospital for an autopsy.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, leaving shock and grief in its wake.
