Effective Stewardship Key to Christian Leadership – Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso

Former General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso, has emphasized the importance of character, competence, and good management in effective stewardship.
Speaking at the Ministerial Stewardship Conference held at the Liberty Centre Assemblies of God in Accra, he reminded pastors, leaders, and individuals that they are stewards of God’s creation and must exhibit growth, maturity, and responsible handling of what has been entrusted to them.
Rev. Frimpong-Manso who is also the president of Frimpong-Manso Institute (FMI), highlighted the biblical foundation of stewardship, citing 1 Corinthians 4:2, which states, “Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.
” He outlined the 5 Ts of Stewardship as Time, Talents, Treasure, Temple (body), and Testimony (reputation), stressing that every steward must manage these areas faithfully and effectively.
The conference, themed “Stewardship,” brought together 276 pastors from various parts of Accra for teachings, workshops, and discussions aimed at strengthening leadership and accountability within the church and beyond.
Rev. Frimpong-Manso encouraged pastors to continuously upgrade themselves in knowledge, skills, and emotional intelligence to meet the needs of the modern world.
By emphasizing the importance of effective stewardship, Rev. Frimpong-Manso’s message serves as a reminder to Christian leaders of their responsibility to manage God’s resources wisely and to prioritize the well-being of their congregations.
