SLTF engages universities ahead of No-Stress Policy for Students implementation
The Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has begun engaging with various universities in Ghana to implement the No-Stress Policy introduced by the John Dramani Mahama administration.
On Thursday, May 29, 2025, SLTF met with students and authorities at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in the Ashanti Region.
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of SLTF, Mr. Kofi Danquah, disclosed this on the Kumasi-based OTEC 102.9 FM’s afternoon political show ‘Dwabrem’ on Thursday May 29,2025 hosted by Prince Nii Ardey.
He emphasized that reimbursements under the government’s No-Fee-Stress policy will officially begin by the end of June.
Kofi Danquah confirmed that preparations were underway to ensure that first-year students receive refunds.
He assured all students who have registered their details to the fund of swift payment of the monies into their account.
He commended President John Dramani Mahama for the policy, adding that this initiative will bring relief to first-year students.
