24- Hour Economy: Barima Matata Farms to implement 3- shifts system

The Chief Executive Officer of Barima Matata Farms, Mr. Boadu Menka Peter, popularly known as Matata, has hinted at initiating a 24-hour economy within the company.

This announcement was made during the inauguration of a new branch or annex of Barima Matata Farms Agro in New Konkrompe, a community in Atebubu .

During his speech at the event, Barima Matata expressed his support for a policy that is soon to be introduced by President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC government.
He emphasized the challenges faced by farmers who return late from their farms, often struggling to find farm inputs to purchase.
By introducing a 24-hour economy, the Bono-East Region business mogul, Mr. Menka Boadu, aims to address this issue and ensure that farmers have access to necessary inputs at all times.
The launch of the new branch in New Konkrompe on May 30, 2025, was a significant step towards achieving this goal.
