Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum
Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, a 2028 presidential flagbearer aspirant for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has outlined a plan to train 400 engineers and doctors in each constituency across Ghana if elected president.
The Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe believes that developing more technocrats will drive rapid development in the country.
Dr. Adutwum, who declared his intention to contest the NPP’s flagbearer position on June 18, 2025, emphasized the importance of quality human resources for accelerated development.
Speaking on Kumasi-based OTEC 102.9 FM’s “Dwabrem” show, on Friday June 20, 2025 hosted by Nii Ardey Prince aka Dr Cash, he stressed that his administration would prioritize the training of quality human resources for all sectors of the economy.
According to Dr. Adutwum, Ghana’s development depends on quality human resources with technical know-how who are willing to work diligently for the country.
He is confident that his track record as former Education Minister makes him the best candidate to lead the NPP to victory in the 2028 presidential polls.
