Ishaq Kyei-Brobbey
A member of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team, Ishaq Kyei-Brobbey, has expressed confidence that the former Vice President will emerge as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer for the 2028 polls.
Speaking on OTEC 102.9 FM’s “Dwabrem” show on June 23, 2025, Kyei-Brobbey stated that he is over 100% sure Dr. Bawumia will win the party’s presidential primaries, regardless of the approach adopted.
The Patron of KsTU’s TESCON believes Dr. Bawumia will outperform all aspiring candidates, describing him as the best option for the party.
“NPP delegates have never made a mistake in choosing the party’s flagbearer, and they are not going to make any mistake this time round. I strongly believe they will fall on Dr. Bawumia again,” he told the host, Dr. Cash.
Mr. Kyei-Brobbey highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s popularity within the party and across Ghana, stating that he is the most marketable candidate for the party to win back power.
He has therefore called on all party members to rally behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for victory in the 2028 polls.
