The 2025 edition of the OTEC Corporate Championship (OCC) has come to a thrilling end, with Anwiam Hospital emerging as the champions of the football category.
The event, held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Otumfuo AstroTurf in Dichemso, Kumasi, featured a series of exciting games, including football and draft, cards, among others.
Six teams battled it out for the football trophy, with Anwiam Hospital ultimately triumphing over Ashanti Masquerade in the finals.
The host team, OTEC 102.9 FM, secured third place after losing to Ashanti Masquerade in a penalty shootout in the semifinals.
The event drew hundreds of football enthusiasts and fans, who cheered on their favorite teams.
Trophies were awarded to the winners, top scorer, and best player of the tournament.
In his closing remarks, the Programs Manager for OTEC FM, Osei Akoto Kanu, commended the organizers for a successful event and expressed gratitude to the participating teams for their time and effort.
He reiterated OTEC FM’s commitment to organizing such programs to promote networking and exercise among participants.
Kanu acknowledged the main sponsors, Adusah Herbal Center and Clinic, and other sponsors who supported the event.
He noted that the OCC has become a recurring event, which will be organized at least once a year.
With its success, the OCC is poised to become a staple in Ghana’s corporate sports calendar.
