Nsuta Kwaman Beposo :Lumba’s Hometown MP, residents  Pay Tribute to The  Legendary Music Icon

Hon. Adelaide Yaa Agyeiwaa Ntim, the Member of Parliament for Nsuta Kwaman Beposo, has mourned the death of music icon Charles Kwadwo Fosu, affectionately known as Daddy Lumba.

 The legendary musician passed away at 59 following a short illness on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

In a press statement, Hon. Ntim on behalf of her constituents described the news as unfortunate, sending shockwaves of grief onto only in Lumba’s Hometown but across Ghana.

 She paid tribute to Daddy Lumba, describing him as a true music legend and proud son of Nsuta.

“With a heavy heart, I join the nation in mourning the loss of a true music legend and proud son of Nsuta — Charles Kwadwo Fosu, affectionately known as Daddy Lumba.”

The MP highlighted Daddy Lumba’s unmatched brilliance, noting that his timeless songs shaped generations and his voice soothed hearts. She added that his legacy will forever echo through Ghanaian culture.

 On behalf of the people of Nsuta-Kwamang-Beposo, Hon. Ntim extended heartfelt condolences to Daddy Lumba’s family, friends, and fans worldwide.
