SSNIT Pledges to Improve Engagement with Employers for Effective Contribution  Compliance

The Director-General of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Alfred Biney, has assured continuous to improvement in engaging  employers to ensure effective compliance with SSNIT contributions.

Speaking at the SSNIT Employers Breakfast Meeting in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday , Biney emphasized that proper collaboration with employers is key to managing pension-related issues effectively.

According to Biney, the majority of SSNIT contributions come from employers, and strict compliance is crucial for securing the future of pensioners.

He commended employers for their support to SSNIT and assured them that the current administration will prioritize the interests of all stakeholders while ensuring effective management of funds.

The Employers Breakfast Meeting provided a platform for dozens of employers in the Ashanti Region to interact with SSNIT officials on ways to improve their collaboration.

Biney emphasized that SSNIT is committed to working with employers to ensure that pensioners receive their benefits on time and that the Trust continues to play its role in securing the future of workers in Ghana.
