Daniel Kodie Promoted to Senior Technical Role at Hearts of Oak

Accra Hearts of Oak have officially elevated Daniel Kodie to the club’s senior team technical staff, appointing him as Assistant Welfare Manager ahead of the upcoming football season.

He will now work alongside Henry Martey, the team’s Welfare Manager.

Kodie’s story is one of resilience, passion, and loyalty. Once a rising star on the pitch for Hearts of Oak, has promising playing career was unfortunately cut short due to a serious injury.

In a show of unwavering support, the club fully covered the cost of his surgery in South Africa.

Rather than step away from the sport he loves, Kodie remained committed to Hearts of Oak.

He transitioned into a backroom role and joined the club’s youth side, Auroras FC, where he served as Assistant Welfare Manager.

His contributions extended beyond his official duties—Kodie regularly shared his football insights with the technical team, helping shape and nurture young talents.

This latest promotion is a reward for his dedication, discipline, and deep-rooted understanding of the Hearts of Oak culture.

His return to the senior team setup, this time in a different capacity, is a proud moment for both Kodie and the club.

For Phobian fans, Kodie’s new role highlights the club’s strong belief in developing its own people and recognizing those who embody its values.

His experience and energy are expected to enhance the team’s welfare department and offer even stronger support to the players throughout the season.
