Former Education Minister and flagbearer hopeful Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum has appealed to delegates of the New Patriotic Party to give him the mantle to the party to victory in the 2028 election.
The Member of Parliament for the Bosomtwe constituency made this call after he filed his nomination to contest in the flagbearership race at the party’s headquarters
Dr Adutwum now joins Hon Kennedy Agyapong, Hon Bryan Acheampong, formwr General Secretary for the NPP Kwaben Agyei Agyapong, and former Vice President Dr Mahamud Bawumia as aspirants who have filed their documents to contest
Declaring that he is the NPP’s finest option in an interview with EKOSIISEN ON ASEMPA 94.7 FM on Thursday August 28,2025, Dr. Adutwum pleaded with delegates to allow him the opportunity to lead the party
He referenced that every Ghanaian recognized his potential when former President Akufo-Addo granted him the chance to work in the Education Ministry.
Therefore, he urged delegates to allow him to take the lead, saying that Ghanaians are ready to support the NPP under his leadership.
