Let’s campaign with decency – Kwabena Frimpong urges supporters of presidential aspirants

Deputy Protocol Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Frimpong, has issued a strong call for unity and decency as the party enters the final stage of its presidential primary slated for 31/01/25.
In a message that he posted on social media precisely Facebook, Mr. Frimpong appealed to party supporters to promote their preferred candidates with respect and dignity, stressing that internal competition must not divide the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.
First part of Mr Frimpong post reads “As we are heading into the final leg of this NPP presidential primary, let’s market our preferred candidates with respect”
Mr. Frimpong emphasized that the strength of the NPP has always been rooted in discipline, unity, and commitment to the larger goal of national development. He reminded party members that once the internal contest is over, all energies must converge behind the elected flagbearer to secure victory in the next general election.
The final part of message read “No insults, no derogatory attacks because after the primaries, we all have a duty to rally behind the winner to become President in December 7th , 2028”, also highlighted the party’s long-standing tradition of peaceful internal democratic practices all party members backing the elected flagbearer.
This message is timely, especially as tensions arise and campaign rhetoric intensifies across various camps through the constituency,regions and across the country.
Kwabena Frimpong’s call is expected to inspire a more respectful and issues-based engagement among party supporters as the NPP prepares for a decisive moment in its political journey going into the 2028 Presidential and parliamentary polls.
