
The National Treasurer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Charles Dwamena, has congratulated former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia following his victory in the party’s presidential primaries held last Saturday.


Dr Dwamena paid a courtesy visit to Dr Bawumia in Accra on Tuesday to formally congratulate him and reaffirm his commitment to supporting the party’s flagbearer ahead of the next general elections.
Speaking during the visit, Dr Dwamena described Dr Bawumia’s victory as a significant milestone for the NPP, noting that it reflects the confidence delegates have in his leadership and vision for Ghana.
“This victory is a clear demonstration of the trust party members have in Dr Bawumia’s leadership. He has the experience, ideas, and commitment needed to lead Ghana forward,” Dr Dwamena said.
The NPP National Treasurer pledged his total support to help Dr Bawumia achieve his ambition of becoming President of the Republic of Ghana.
“I want to assure him of my unwavering support. I will work closely with him and all party stakeholders to ensure that we unite and work hard to secure victory in the upcoming elections,” he stated.
Dr Dwamena further urged party members to remain united and focused, emphasizing that collective effort would be key to winning power and delivering development to Ghanaians.
