Compose justice songs not peace – James Aboagye
Movie director and producer, James Aboagye has charged Ghanaians, especially musicians to stop composing peace songs and rather sing about equal Rights and justice before, during and after Wednesday’s polls.
Speaking to OneCharles on Otec FM’s Anokyekrom, the former Secretary of the film producers association of Ghana explained that peace comes automatically when the rights of people are respected and justice is served because in the absence of the aforementioned chaos will be inevitable. ” I totally disagree with those making noise about peace, the should sing about justice” he said.
James Aboagye called on the national peace council to advise the electoral commission, security agencies and the various political parties about the need for justice to be upheld since it remains the only route to perfect peace.
He however warned that there will be no peace if any party decides to snatch ballot boxes from polling stations.
Mr. James Aboagye is one of the most respected movie directors in Ghana with several movies to his credit including, Saman the fie, M’asem ni, Odo sisi aso, Agha Koo trotro driver.
