Kofi Manu can’t survive without ”Goro” Jobs – J.Y. Appiah

Former GHALCA Boss and Black Stars management committee member, J.Y. Appiah has described Controversial football administrator Kofi Manu as an ignoramus who cannot survive without doing ”Goro” jobs.
Kofi Manu allegedly described Mr. J.Y. Appiah as a pea-brained adult after he called on the football fraternity to help kick out ‘Goro’ boys from the GFA.
The “Goro Boys” according to him, refers to people who have no business at the Ghana Football Association but are always wandering around the premises without any official duties.
”Kofi Manu means nothing to me… why should I waste my time on someone who cannot survive without doing goro jobs”, he said in a rebuttal.
He told Osei Akoto Kanu on Otec Royal Sports that he is not in good terms with Kofi Manu because he insulted and vilified him for supporting kwesi Nyantakyi, President of the Ghana football Association for many years.
”Kofi Manu stated that, should he die at 6pm after witnessing the death of Kwesi Nyantaky and myself at 5:30, he would be glad because it would mean he had seen the end of his enemies… so how can I be friends with such a person”, he fumed.
He disclosed that Kofi Manu spends more time at the GFA than the employees of the association, adding that, no responsible person will visit another person at his office throughout the whole year.
”They are a disservice to Ghana football.. at his level, spending about 10 hours each day at another person’s office is the issue he should address and not these insinuations”, he noted.
He explained that GHALCA as a welfare body could allow people to converge at their premises but the GFA which is not a welfare body cannot allow people to wander around their premises.
