Asantehene makes historic visit to Ofori Panin Fie (Photos)

Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II today, Thursday, 23 August 2018, visited Kyebi to meet Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin II.

Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II the 16th occupant of the Golden Stool, is visiting Kyebi as a special guest of honour at the 75th anniversary of the death a former Okyehene Nana Sir Ofori Atta who is recognized with the transformation of Akyem Abuakwa in the Eastern region.

The historic visit is expected to show the best of the rich Akan culture and tradition and reinforce the natural bond between the Akyems and the Asantes.

Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofor Panin II was in June this year hosted by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.

The two traditional leaders participated in the Head of State Golf Invitational Tournament and had dinner to climax the event.
