Video: It’s uncivilized to beat your wife’s butt in public – Tutor schools Obinim

A Tutor of the Kumasi Anliican Senior High School and regular panelist of Otecfm’s Nyansapo morning show programme Mr. Kwabena Owusu Nketia has apparently poked at some church leaders in the country who are taking fame from beating of their spouse butts in public describing it as “uncivilized act.”

According to the social commentator, the culture of the various ethnic groups in the country frown in any act that seems to expose sexual acts in public adding that the men of God should not engage in the practice to court popularity from the social media.

Mr. Kwabena Owusu Nketia made the observation recently during his observation on the ‘Sex for Grade” video on Otecfm’s Nyansapo morning show but however added that more renowned leaders at key positions including men of God have all taken advantage of indulging in sexual acts with some innocent girls.

The leader and founder of International Godsway Ministries, Bishop Angel Obinim recently went viral with a video where he was seen beating the butt of his musician wife Florence Obinim. The video has received backlash from some section of the public insisting the act was undeserving of a man of God.

But commenting on the video, Mr. Kwabena Owusu Nketia maintained that it was utter “stupid” for anyone including a man of God to do for fame.

“It is an uncivilized act for people to beat the butts of their spouses in public for the sake of fame. For me it is stupid. It is a shame on our culture and no civilized person should do that. The church is a world of its own and there was the need for Christians to show lifestyle worthy of emulation.”
