Coronavirus: God will save us if you adhere to measures — Assemblies of God Pastor

The head Pastor for Calvary Temple Assemblies of God Church at Bantama in the Kumasi Metropolis Rev. Dominic Owusu has maintained that only God can save Ghana from the   deadly coronavirus which is now threatening the lives of  citizens in the country.

According to him God in his own wisdom will not leave  his children at the mercy of the virus to defeat them .

Meanwhile Rev. Dominic has urged the public to strictly adhere to all measures and protocols that have been announced by Government to prevent the spread of the coronavirus .

“As the government continues to take bold steps to curb the spread, and citizens are encouraged to strictly observe these preventive measures to protect us from contracting and further spreading the virus, I wish to urge our religious leaders as well as faith based organization  to continue to pray for our dear nation Ghana and the world” Rev. Dominic noted.

“We have unwavering belief in the Almighty God that He has what it takes to save us and the world from this affliction” he added.

The Pastor said this when he was delivering his Sunday service to the country through a virtual service.

“As we all seek to halt the spread of the virus, I encourage all and sundry to strictly observe these preventive measures to safeguard us from contracting and further spreading the virus.” Rev Dominic Owusu noted.

The Pastor while preaching stressed that, although the country have unwavering trust in the almighty God that he will save the citizens from this affliction, flouting the various measures will worsen the woes of the country.

He has therefore urged the citizenry to regularly wash their hands under running water, ensure social distancing, use alcohol based hand sanitizers as well as wearing nose mask when going to public. https://youtu.be/s7zQlgyQVOY
