COVID-19: 15 more fatalities take Ghana’s death toll to 533; active caseload 8,216

So far, 533 people have died in Ghana from the virus
Eighteen more persons have died of the coronavirus disease as the active cases shooting up to 8,216 as of February14, 2021.
This brings the country death toll to 533, with 67,087 recoveries according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS)
The Service’s website also revealed that 718 new cases of Covid-19 infections have been confirmed as the tally rises to 75,836.
Airport situation
A total of 1,172 cases have been detected at the Kotoka International Airport since it was reopened in September. According to the GHS, 945 international travellers have so far recovered.
A total of 832, 760 tests have since been conducted through routine surveillance, enhanced contact tracing and international travellers.
None of the active cases is on a ventilator, however, the GHS is reporting 101 severe and 33 critical cases.
