Four Konongo-Odumase SHS students discharged; one charged for murder

The Konongo District Court has discharged the four juveniles except for the Prime suspect who has been remanded.

The presided over by Her Worship Joyce Bamfo arrived at this decision on Monday December 6, 2021 upon advice from the Attorney General’s Office

The four juveniles though have been discharged will now serve as witnesses in the matter.

The court  also directed the GES to reintegrate the juveniles into school.

Headteacher of the Konongo-Odumase SHS, Dr. Kwaku Baah says the students for their safety and issues relating to stigma will be relocated to different schools.

 The Head of Legal and Prosecution at the Ashanti Regional Police Command Chief  Superintendent, Kofi  Blagodzi after court proceedings disclosed that the first accused person will be charged officially and  sent to a Hight court on the next adjourn date, which is Monday December 13, 2021.
