A/R: DOM donates life-saving drugs to Bebu Methodist Clinic
David Owusu Ministry (DOM), a lead soul winning inter-denominational group, has donated life-saving drugs to Bebu Methodist Clinic near Brofoyedu in the Atwima Kwanwoma district in the Ashanti Region.
The drugs include bottles of Paradol, Family Haemoglobin, Letamol, Noworm syrup, Letalin, packs of Lisinopril, Dextrolite, Ibufen, Multivite tab, Diclokin and among others.
The donation according to the Head of Care Department of DOM-Ghana, Mr. Isaac Ewuah Mensah, was at a valued at GHC 6,000.
At the presentation of the drugs on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, Mr. Ewuah Mensah reminded the clinic management that the drugs are not to be sold, but to support the vulnerable patients who visit the facility.
“As part of our philanthropic ministry, DOM would not rest on our oars until health for all especially the vulnerable becomes a reality,” Mr Ewuah Mensah said.
“The drugs that are been presented to you today are not to be sold out to any patient. These are charity drugs by the leadership of DOM International and Ghana led by Apostle David Owusu, so they should be given freely to patients who visit the facility,” he cautioned.
The Administrator of Bebu Methodist Health Centre, Mrs. Emelia Afua Agyemang, on behalf of the centre praised the leadership of David Owusu Ministry for the sustained campaign with the spread of the gospel and the kind gesture.
She also promised to put the donations to optimum use, and commended the leadership for remaining consistent to the welfare of the vulnerable and marginalized in society.
“Like Oliver Twist, the facility needs more support in terms of infrastructure, equipment, logistics and others. We will be more grateful if this donation will not be a one-off thing, but will continue,” Mrs. Agyemang pleaded.
