Asante Akyem North Communications Officer Resigns…Cites Recent Enstoolment As Abrewapon Chief For Decision
Mr Eric Opoku Asamoah, former Communications officer of the NPP in Asante Akyem North and now Chief of Abrewapon Community
Mr Eric Opoku Asamoah, Communications officer for the Asante Akyem North Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has tendered in his resignation to the party.
The hard working officer who was recently enstooled as Chief at the Abrewapon Community in a letter to the NPP says his current status mandates him to resign.
He noted that he doesn’t want to do anything that would conflict with the chieftaincy office he occupies now.

Dear Chairman,
A LETTER OF RESIGNATION
Persuant to Article 94(3)(b) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana and Article 3(4)(6) of the New Patriotic Party’s Constitution, I officially write to resign from my position as the communications officer of the New Patriotic Party, Asante Akim North Constituency.
This action is been necessitated by my recent enstolment as the Chief of Abrewapon in Agogo Traditional Area which conflicts with the above constitutional requirement.
I still remain a staunch member of the party on record and humbly embrace any responsibility assigned to me in a diverse ways to ensure the elephant family remains strong and prosperous.
I would like to thank all stakeholders for their support and still committed to work for our dear party.
