Children At Three Orphanages Enjoy Foods Supplied By EKK Foundation During Christmas

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the EKK Charity Foundation, Mr Evans Kofi Kwafo together with members of his outfit have provided food and drinkables to three orphanages in the country.

Kids at the Potter’s Village Orphanage Home at Dodowa Accra, Cherubs Children’s Home at Santasi-Apire and children at the Heart Smile Organization at Manso Akropong had lots to eat and drink during the visitations by the Foundation.

Interestingly, the CEO of the Foundation who recalls how he didnt get to eat at Christmas when he was young, has sustained these act of kindnesses at to orphanages for close to a decade.

Speaking to this reporter, Mr Kwafo said, “I become happy when I see children at orphanages eating and smiling during Christmas and this is the reason i have continually supplied them with food and drinks”.

Appreciation:

CEO of Potter’s Village Orphanage, Nana Ama Adu Owusu, on behalf of the two other homes expressed gratitude to the EKK Charity Foundation for the gesture.

She, however, appealed for additional assistance to complete the girls dormitory at her outfit so that it can serve the students well.

“We are thankful for the donations and support we have received from Mr Kwafo and his Foundation but we plead that he helps us complete the girls dormitory at this home for the students”, the CEO appealed.

Foundation’s Commitment:

Speaking about the commitments of the EKK Foundation, Mrs. Mavis Nyantakyiwaa Agyei, Secretary of the outfit reaffirmed their dedication to supporting vulnerable communities and groups.

She also noted the foundation’s passion for philanthropic acts and encouraged other individuals and organizations to contribute to helping such needy homes in the country.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to spend time with the children at the three places we visted. We pledge to  support Potter’s Village in the ongoing project but we urge other organisations and philanthropists to join hands with us to complete the girls’ dormitory and other vital projects,” she remarked.

The Secretary also stated the desire of EKK Foundation to collaborate with Cherubs Children’s Home and Heart Smile Organization to support their activities whenever the need arises.
