Chief of Asuonwunu Commissions Ultramodern Classroom Block, Donates Computers and Printers to Students

The Chief of Asuonwunu, Nana Achina Kwagyan Nuama V, has commissioned an ultramodern three-unit classroom block at Asuonwunu in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.

The Chief also donated computers and printers to schools in the community, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing education in the area.

The construction of the school block was led by Nana Achina Kwagyan V and financed by three miners: Mr. Andrew Appiah, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman (Man Man), and Eric Frimpobg (Alhaji).

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on Friday, Nana Akyena Kwagyan Nuama V commended the three miners for their generous support to the community.

Mr. Andrew Appiah, speaking on behalf of the miners, noted that their contribution was part of their corporate social responsibility to the community.

He highlighted that this was not their only contribution, having previously built toilet facilities, water projects, and other infrastructure.

 The miners pledged their continued support to the community.

The Assembly Member for the Area, Hon. Achina Kofi Richard (Hon Chief), also donated textbooks worth 20,000 cedis to schools in the area and presented four trash bins to help keep the schools clean.

 Hon Chief thanked the Chief and the three miners for their support, emphasizing the importance of stakeholders working together for development projects.
