Speaking as a panelist on Otec fm’s afternoon political talkshow dubbed Dwabrem on Tuesday February 11, Alhaji Salam explained that politics in Ghana in recent times is mostly winner takes all and therefore would be difficult for an opposition member to serve well as a member of the advisory body to the President.
He wondered how someone can advise a person whiles they both don’t share the same ideology.
“I am wondering how and why someone would want to counsel a person who doesn’t support or believe in your policies or ideas” Salam told host of the show, Prince Nii Ade (Dok Cash).
His comments come after chaos erupted the electoral process for the Ashanti Regional representative of Council of State at te Regional Coordinating Council on Tuesday 11th February by some unknown thugs.
The CPP Secretary however took a swipe at personnel of the Ghana police service who were assigned to the event describing them a failures in duty discharge.
He believes the Regional Coordinating Council is a security zone and under no circumstances should thugs be allowed to cause chaos there.
