‘Almost every promise is being fulfilled’ – Ayariga hails 2025 Budget

Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has praised the 2025 budget, describing it as a reflection of the Mahama government’s commitment to delivering on its promises.
Speaking after Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson presented the budget to Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, Ayariga said the budget offers hope to ordinary Ghanaians and introduces significant economic reforms.
“This clearly is a budget of a government and a party that keeps its promises. Almost every promise made by the Mahama government has been fulfilled in less than 120 days,” he stated.
He highlighted that the budget prioritizes key sectors, directly benefiting market women, assembly members, students, and the general public.
“This budget is for Makola women, assembly men, girls, and school children. It delivers solid reforms and drives economic growth. By the time we finish implementing this budget, the elephant will be small—‘osono b3y3 ketekete,’” he added, referencing the opposition party’s elephant symbol.
The budget introduced major policy measures aimed at stabilizing and revitalizing the economy.
