Commercial drivers were forced to abandon their passengers at the end of the bridge, leaving them stranded.

Stranded passengers are calling on authorities in the Ashanti Region to treat the matter as a national security issue and fix the bridge immediately.

The situation has caused widespread disruption, with many travelers left without alternative transportation options.

The collapse of the bridge has raised concerns about the state of infrastructure in the region and the need for urgent repairs to prevent further accidents.

Authorities are urged to take swift action to restore the bridge and ensure the safe passage of commuters.
