Frimpong-Manso Institute Celebrates Motherhood on Mother’s Day

The Frimpong-Manso Institute (FMI) has  joined  the Global community in honoring Mother’s Day, paying tribute to the unwavering dedication and selflessness of mothers worldwide.

The institute in a press release on Sunday May 11,2025, and copied to OTEC News Desk said the remarkable women are the cornerstone of families, communities, and society as a whole, shaping the next generation with their love, guidance, and resilience.

A Labor of Love

The release signed by President of the Institute, Rev Professor Paul Frimpong Manso added that Motherhood is a multifaceted role that encompasses nurturing, teaching, and protecting.

 “Mothers are the primary caregivers, mentors, and role models, instilling values, morals, and life skills in their children”. Their tireless efforts often go unappreciated, yet their impact is felt throughout their children’s lives”. The release said.

Diverse Paths to Motherhood

FMI recognizes that motherhood comes in many forms, including biological, adoptive, foster, and grandmotherly love.

Each path is unique, yet all share a common thread – a deep-seated desire to care for, protect, and nurture others.

 The institute celebrates the diversity of motherhood, acknowledging the challenges and triumphs that come with each journey.

A Call to Appreciation

The Institute expressed much appreciation to mothers a cross the globe particularly those in Ghana

“As we celebrate Mother’s Day, FMI encourages everyone to reflect on the significant contributions mothers make to our lives”.

 Whether through whispered words of encouragement, late-night vigils, or sacrifices made for the family’s well-being, mothers are the unsung heroes of our society.
