Leader and members from the Agent of Charity Foundation, a non-governmental organisation over the weekend visited inmates at the Edwenease Rehabilitation Centre to fraternise, entertain and donate towards their needs.

The Center, a social welfare supported facility houses persons with disabilities including those with physical and mental issues.

Speaking during the visit, Mr Philip Kwaku Acheampong said his outfit as part of its responsibilities decided to visit the home to share fellowship and to assist them with food items including toiletries.

“As part of our vision we visit such facilities such as Edwenease Rehabilitation Center every year to share fellowship and to also donate things that may be urgently needed at the facilities”, Mr Acheampong stated.

Ministration:

With a set of musical instruments including artists from their outfit, Foundation members sang and praised the Lord with the inmates.

Singing melodious songs and inspirational tunes, Minister Ortega, MK Lewis and Michael Amankwah (Amass) entertained the inmates.

Enjoying themselves, some of the inmates danced heartily and joyfully to the amazement of the members from the Agent of Charity Foundation.

Addressing the Center’s caretakers as well as the authorities and inmates, Mr Acheampong encouraged them to keep hope alive and do their best to keep the home a happy one.

Donation:

Donating the items later, Mr Acheampong said his Foundation members were delighted to show kindness to the Rehabilitation Center.

He noted that having learnt the issues at the Center they decided to donate to help bring some relief to the authorities.

The Leader promised to keep an eye on the home and ensure that members keep them in mind with prayer and other support that may be needed.

“We are committed as a Foundation to help the needy, underprivileged and vulnerable return to normal life by supporting them with the projects we embark on every year”, Mr Acheampong stated.
