Amansie Rural Bank PLC reiterates commitment to corporate social responsibility

The Amansie Rural Bank PLC has reaffirmed its commitment to investing in corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of people in its catchment areas.
The bank believes that corporate institutions have a responsibility to give back to society, particularly to uplift the vulnerable.
This commitment was underscored when the bank donated 100 bags of cement to support the rebuilding of the Adum Blue Light Traders’ market, which was devastated by a recent fire outbreak.
The Head of Business Development and Relationship Banking, Anna Adu Gyamfi, emphasized the motive behind the donation, stating that the bank’s priority is the well-being of its customers.
“When our customers are doing well, we are also doing well. As good citizens of Ghana, we must help them rebuild,” she said.
Handing over the cement bags to the traders on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, Mrs. Adu Gyamfi urged the traders to continue supporting the bank, adding that the financial institution is committed to building a more robust relationship that will provide support for their businesses and finances.
The Chairman of the United Traders Association, Joseph Bobie Ansah, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Amansie Rural Bank PLC for the generous donation.
He noted that the market’s activities have been severely disrupted due to the fire outbreak, and the bank’s support will go a long way in facilitating a speedy rebuilding process.
Ansah also highlighted that while many individuals have offered support, this marks the first time a bank has made such a significant donation.
He warmly thanked Amansie Rural Bank PLC for their kindness and urged other banks to follow suit, demonstrating corporate social responsibility and support for local businesses in times of need.
The donation is a testament to the bank’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the growth and development of its customers.
