Antoa Nsuase Royal Family donates items to celebrate 25-year anniversary celebrations

Antoa Nsuase Royal family has donated hospital equipment to the Antoa Clinic, Anglican Senior High School, and Kumasi Children’s Home to support healthcare delivery, education, and philanthropic work, respectively.

This act of kindness was done by the children and grandchildren of Nana Akua Afriyie Siakwan (Ex-Antoahemaa) to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of her passing.

Items donated to the clinic included hospital beds, weighing scales, air conditioners, labour beds, auto clave, baby warmers, baby’s court, and several other essential medical supplies.
Other items presented to the Anglican School and the Kumasi Children’s Home include television and fridge, food items, and necessities for them, respectively.
In an interview with OTEC News, a representative of the Antoa Royal family, who is also the former Director of Keta Port development and former CEO of PSC Tema Shipyard Limited, Dr. Alexander Yaw Adusei, Jr. stated that the equipment will significantly enhance healthcare services and improve the treatment of patients at the clinic.
He also revealed that outside the already completed facelift of the maternity unit, plans to construct a nurses’ bungalow to provide comfortable accommodation for healthcare staff, ensuring they can better attend to patients and stay within the hospital is underway.
The Municipal Health Director for Kwabre East, Mrs. Elsie Kissi Appiah expressed profound gratitude to the donors for their generous contribution, which is estimated to be over 500,000 cedis.
She noted that the donated equipment would go a long way in improving healthcare delivery at the Antoa Clinic. She also assured of practising the culture of maintenance in order to sustain the equipment for a long time.
Similarly, the Headmistress of the Secondary school and the Head of the Kumasi Children’s Home were equally grateful for the gesture and prayed for God’s kindness and blessings on the family.
