A/R: Two shot dead, one injured at Mpasaaso

A violent incident has occurred in Mpasaaso, Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region, leaving two suspected thugs dead and another person severely injured.

While residents say they have no idea, what triggered the deaths, they claim they wake up to see the three men on the street with two already death

According to Secretary to the Mpasaaso Palace, Mr. Appiah Afrifa Collins, the deceased have been engaging in violent activities in the area.

“We received a distress call from some neighbors who discovered the lifeless bodies and upon getting to the scene, I saw two dead bodies with gun wounds and one other battling for his life,” he said.

One of the deceased, identified as Borga, was reportedly a leader of the group involved in violent activities.

Mr. Collins suspects Borga was shot by attackers, citing a gunshot wound to the head.

“The deceased himself was holding a gun at the scene but he was also butchered with his wrists cut off,” he added.

Police officers have taken over the scene to investigate the incident
