Ejurahene unveils over 10 major security sector projects as 10-year anniversary approaches

The Ejura Divisional Council has revealed a slew of major projects in the security sector, spearheaded by Ejurahene Barimah Osei Hwedie II, as the chief prepares to mark his 10-year anniversary.
According to the council, the chief has prioritized security, providing financial and infrastructural support to various security agencies.
The projects include the construction of a GH¢2 million Divisional Police Headquarters, accommodation for police officers, an office complex for the Ghana Immigration Service, and a brand new Toyota Hilux Pickup Vehicle for the Immigration Service.
Other projects include the release of over 100 acres of land to the Ghana Prison Service, construction of a seven-semidetached bedroom for the Ghana National Fire Service, and a brand new pickup vehicle for the Ghana Airforce.
The chief has also provided land and three houses for the establishment of a Military Base and supported the Ghana Police Service with over GH¢100,000 for the training of community watchdog committees.
The council is preparing to mark the 10th anniversary of Ejurahene’s reign in December 2025 and has praised Barimah Osei Hwedie II for his prolific and sterling leadership.
Further details of the anniversary activities are yet to be announced.
It is worth noting that the Chief has several other projects in other sectors, including education, health, agriculture, and humanitarian works, among others.
