Christmas: Otec FM holds maiden Nine Lessons and Carol service in Kumasi (Photos)
Otec FM has successfully held its first-ever Nine Lessons and Carol service at its studio premises located at Asawasi in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
The colourful event, held on Monday, December 22, 2025, brought together staff, listeners, and special guests in a spirit-filled celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The service was led and officiated by Rev. Father Mary James Opoku Oware of St. Agnes and Catherine Catholic Church at Oforikrom.
He delivered a touching sermon on the true meaning of Christmas, urging the public to reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ as a symbol of love, sacrifice, and redemption.
The Junior Choir of De-Graft Memorial Methodist Church, Asawasi, graced the occasion with beautiful carols, interspersed between Bible readings that narrated the story of Christ’s birth.
The choir’s ministration added warmth and a festive mood to the solemn but joyful celebration.
According to the station’s management, the program forms part of activities planned to engage staff and entertain loyal listeners during the festive season.
They expressed gratitude to all participants and promised to make it an annual event to spread the message of hope and unity.
