Manhyia South MP pays tribute to Daddy Lumba

The Member of Parliament for Manhyia South Constituency, Hon. Lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour, has praised the late Highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, for his immense contribution to Ghana’s music industry.

Hon. Nana Agyei Baffour joined the NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Bosiako, the NPP National Organizer, Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, and other leading members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to pay their last respects to the iconic musician.

Speaking to the media, the Manhyia South MP highlighted Daddy Lumba’s influence beyond entertainment, noting the memorable songs he composed in support of the NPP. He emphasized that Daddy Lumba’s unique musical voice, powerful lyrics, and lasting legacy would continue to resonate with Ghanaians for generations.

Daddy Lumba remains one of Ghana’s most celebrated musicians, whose works have left an indelible mark on both the cultural and political landscape of the country.
