NPP donates GH₵100,000 to family of Daddy Lumba

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has donated an amount of One Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵100,000) to the family of the late legendary highlife musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
The donation was made at the ongoing funeral rites at the Heroes Park, as a mark of respect and support to the bereaved family, especially the children of the late musician.
Presenting the donation on behalf of the party were leading members of the NPP, including the General Secretary, Justine Kodua Frimpong; Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, widely known as Chairman Wontumi,and Paul Yando, among other party executives.
The party representatives described Daddy Lumba as a national icon whose contribution to Ghana’s music industry and cultural heritage remains unmatched. They noted that the gesture was to support the family during this difficult period and to honor the legacy of a man whose music touched lives across generations.
The family of the late Daddy Lumba expressed appreciation to the New Patriotic Party for the support and solidarity shown during the funeral rites, as mourners continue to throng the Heroes Park to pay their last respects to the music legend.
