Offinso-Abofuo Philanthropist feeds 5,000 vulnerable; rewards 12 hardworking staff with brand new cars ahead of Christmas

A renowned businessman and philanthropist, Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barima Kese, Nyankyerenease Nkosuohene, has put smiles on the faces of thousands of underprivileged people by extending support to 5,000 vulnerable individuals ahead of the Christmas festivities.

The charitable initiative, organized as part of his annual Christmas outreach, targeted widows, the aged, persons living with disabilities, and economically disadvantaged families across several communities in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

Beneficiaries received food items and other essential supplies to help them enjoy the festive season despite prevailing economic challenges.

Addressing beneficiaries during the distribution exercise at Abofuo on December 21,2025, Nana Adu Gyamfi emphasized the importance of compassion, generosity, and unity, especially during Christmas. He stated that the season serves as a reminder to support the less fortunate and share the blessings one has received.

“Christmas is about love and giving. If we are able to put food on the tables of families who may otherwise struggle, then we have truly celebrated the season,” he noted.

Nana Adu Gyamfi reiterated his commitment to humanitarian causes, explaining that giving back to society remains a key pillar of his personal values and business philosophy. He encouraged individuals and corporate organizations to contribute in their own ways toward improving the lives of vulnerable members of society.

“We are blessed to be a blessing to others. As we celebrate Christmas, it is important to remember those who may not have enough to share in the joy of the season, and we need each other’s help one way or the other,” he said.
The beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the timely support, describing it as a major relief and a source of hope during the festive period.

The flagbearer hopeful for the New Patriotic Party NPP, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, who graced the occasion shared in the joy of the beneficiaries, expressing a profound gratitude to the CEO of Shamor Group of Companies and also asked them to remember him in their prayers.

The presentation ceremony, held at a short but colorful event, was part of Nana Adu Gyamfi’s commitment to motivating excellence and acknowledging employees who have contributed immensely to the growth and success of his business ventures. The beneficiaries were selected based on their outstanding performance, consistency, and years of service.
Speaking at the ceremony which saw 5,000 vulnerables receiving food stuffs ahead of the festive season at Abofuo in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region on December 21,2025, the Chief Executive Officer CEO of Shamor Group of Companies described his employees as the backbone of his businesses, stressing that their hard work and commitment deserve to be celebrated.
“No business can grow without dedicated people behind it. These awards are a small way of saying thank you to staff who have stood by the company and given their best over the years,” he stated.
He further encouraged staff to remain committed, disciplined, and passionate about their work, assuring them that dedication and loyalty will always be recognized and rewarded.
The twelve cars that were presented to the staff included three brand new Honda Civic and nine brand new Toyota Vitz.
In addition to the twelve cars that were presented to the staff, Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barima Kese, also presented one escort bike to the Offinso South Divisional Police Command.
