A/R: Subriso residents demand urgent fix for deplorable Manfo road

Residents of Subriso and its surrounding enclave in the Ahafo Ano North Municipal of the Ashanti Region have expressed deep frustration over the deplorable state of their roads, calling on government to take immediate action.
The Manfo–Subriso stretch, which serves as a vital link to several farming communities, has deteriorated badly, causing daily hardship for commuters and motorists.
The road is riddled with potholes and dusty surfaces, forcing drivers to frequently push broken-down vehicles and endure long delays.
The situation becomes particularly severe during the rainy season, when sections of the road become flooded and almost impassable.
This has negatively affected the transportation of goods and essential services within the area.
Speaki to OTEC News during a visit to the area, Farmers say they are losing large quantities of produce due to the poor road network, while students struggle to attend school regularly.
Access to healthcare has also been compromised, as vehicles find it difficult to reach the communities in emergencies.
According to community members, repeated appeals to authorities over the years have yielded no results. They insist that the condition of the road continues to worsen with each passing day.
The residents, therefore, are calling for urgent intervention to rehabilitate the Manfo–Subriso road and ease the suffering of road users.
