TWOTAP Ministry supports over 2,000 orphans and widows with more than gh¢400 each monthly

The General Overseer of the Word of Truth and Prayers (TWOTAP) Ministry, Evangelist Francis Awusi, has announced a nationwide monthly support package for orphans and widows across the country.

According to Evangelist Awusi, the ministry currently supports over 2,000 orphans and widows, with each widow receiving an amount of more than four hundred Ghana cedis (GH¢400) every month.

He explained that the initiative is aimed at helping widows meet their basic needs and improve their standard of living.

He noted that the support will be implemented across all TWOTAP branches throughout the length and breadth of the country, adding that the gesture is not limited to members of the church alone.

Evangelist Awusi stressed that the ministry is committed to supporting not only TWOTAP widows but widows in general, as part of its Christian responsibility to care for the vulnerable in society.

Speaking to the press with an official launch of ‘’Care for the Widwos and Ophans’’ held at the premises of Holy Living Media, Evangelist Awusi cited the biblical passage James 1:27, which encourages believers to care for orphans and widows in their time of need.

He said the initiative is a divine mandate and called on other churches, organizations, and well-meaning individuals to support similar humanitarian efforts to ease the burden on vulnerable groups.

He later explained that those in need should take it upon themselves to be regular in church attendance in order to closely monitor and strengthen their spiritual lives.
