Articulated truck crashes into 3 vehicles, kills 1 on Kumasi-Offinso highway
An articulated truck has crashed into three vehicles on the Kumasi-Offinso Highway, killing one person in a gory accident.
The accident occurred at Anyinasuso near Offinso in the Ashanti Region, leaving one person in critical condition.
The gory accident occurred on Monday, February 16, 2026.
Eyewitnesses in an interview with OTEC News Reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng said the fatal accident happened when the articulated truck traveling from Aboffuor to Kumasi lost control and clashed into three other vehicles.
One of the vehicles, a Toyota Vitz, which was the most affected, saw the driver injured and a passenger dying.
The accident scene has been taken over by police with investigations ongoing.
Both the injured and the deceased are currently at the hospital.
