SIGA Celebrates Its Director-General, John Boadu On His Birthday
The Management and Staff of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) have eulogised their Director-General Hon John Boadu who celebrates his birthday today, 25th October, 2024.
According to the workers, their Director-General has since his appointment turned the fortunes of the company around.
They attest that their Director General is competent, knowledgeable and highly strategic in his managerial ways.

The Man John Boadu: A Birthday Tribute*
Today, we honor an exceptional leader, John Boadu, whose influence on Ghana’s political and public service landscape is truly remarkable. Known for his strategic insight and dedication, he has been instrumental in shaping both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), impacting national governance and development.
As General Secretary of the NPP, John Boadu guided the party to landmark victories in 2016 and 2020, strengthening its grassroots support and mentoring a new generation of leaders. His commitment to service and excellence extends beyond politics, reaching into public governance.
At SIGA, John Boadu’s contributions have been groundbreaking. Under his capable leadership, the preparation of the 2021, 2022, and 2023 State Ownership Reports—all completed within a single year—demonstrated his focus on transparency and efficiency. He has also elevated the Performance Contract Negotiations with State Entities from 73 to 79 this year, with an ambitious target of 83 by FY 2025.
Moreover, Annual Financial Statements submitted by State Entities for State Ownership Reports rose from 139 to 147 in FY 2023, a testament to his dedication to accountability. Notably, entities included in the national accounts for FY 2023 increased from 62 to 74, reflecting his commitment to enhancing the financial integrity of state-owned enterprises.
