Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Ghana: Pioneering the Future of AI & Robotics for Sustainable Development

The Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Ghana, the prestigious national event of the global Robotics for Good Youth Challenge, is set to take place on March 22, 2025, at Academic City University, starting at 8:00 AM.

This exciting competition will see young innovators from across Ghana showcase their skills in robotics and artificial intelligence, tackling real-world challenges in disaster response.

The event serves as a qualifying tournament for the Grand Finale in Geneva during the AI for Good Global Summit 2025, a global platform driving sustainable innovation through AI and robotics.

Empowering Youth Through Robotics and AI:

The Robotics for Good Youth Challenge is an inclusive, UN-based robotics competition that empowers young minds to design, build, and program robots to address real-world challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This year’s focus on disaster response highlights the role of technology in tackling humanitarian crises and improving global resilience.

The competition is open to all individuals and teams, fostering creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Participants will use free software and hardware robotics, promoting accessibility, sustainability, and environmental consciousness in AI-driven solutions.

A Milestone for Ghana’s Robotics Community:

This maiden edition has attracted 25 teams, representing both junior and senior categories, from top educational institutions across the country.
