COVID-19: 3,188,114 vaccinated in Ghana, death toll now 1,203

The Ghana Health Service  has so far, vaccinated 3,188,114 people since the COVID-19 mass vaccination programme started on 2 March 2021.

The death toll from COVID-19 now stands 1,203, the latest update from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) said.

The country’s active cases have also dropped marginally to 1,274  after 19  new coronavirus cases were confirmed at the laboratories.

As at 5 November 2021, the GHS reports that the country’s total confirmed cases increased to 130, 608, out of which 128, 131 have recovered.

So far, 37 cases have been classified as severe while 12 remain critical, according to GHS.

Cases detected at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) are 2,907 with 2,811 recoveries so far.
