Police arrest Chinese nationals over murder at mining site

The Western Regional Police Command have arrested three Chinese nationals suspected to be behind a murder case at Bonsa, a mining community in the region.

The suspects, Yu Shuhui alias Eli, Zhou Daquan and Wen Jianhua according to the police allegedly shot and killed the victim at a mining site on November 11, 2022.

Police in a statement copied to OTEC News on Friday November 11,2022, said they have retrieved the body of the deceased and have commenced investigations into the alleged murder.

“The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Tarkwa Municipal hospital for autopsy and further probe”

The statement further disclosed that, “a search conducted at the residence of the suspects led to the retrieval of the murder weapon, investigation continues and the suspects will be arraigned before court to face justice”
