Rawlings Denies Recieving 1996 Chevy coupé on His Birthday.

It has emerged that former President Jerry John Rawlings owns the  pitch-black, convertible, sporty 1993 Chevy coupé car contrary to rumours it was  gifted  him on his 70th birthday.

Reports were rife the Ghana’s former head of state was gifted a unique collectible version of a classic American sports car on June 22nd this year coinciding his 70th birthday anniversary

However, checks by otecfmonline.com‘ revealed the car is Mr. Rawlings’ personal property as the  identity of the person who presented it remains unknown and could not be traced.

According to information gathered by otecfmghana.com,’s investigative reporter Kwabena Danso-Dapaah, the car has been at a  mechanic shop for years of which works were finished on it  and had to be handed back to the former President by the machanic.
