American life coach and author Mariko Bennett advises Ghanaian youth

An American life coach and author, Mariko Bennett, has advised young Ghanaian children to work hard on their visions to make them realized.

She said having good plans towards the future can only be materialized if one believes and actively pursues them.

Mariko Bennett who is also the CEO of Coco B Productions, a premier consulting firm in the USA, was advising students of Mancell Senior High Technical School in Kumasi, on Wednesday.

Her engagement with the female students is part of her firm’s efforts in powering women in the society to aspire for greater heights.
She was accompanied by the President of Breast Care International Dr Mrs Beatrice Wiafe Addai, Prof Stephen Avery (University of Pennsylvania), Prof Tony Opoku Agyeman (KNUST), and McKenzie, Mariko’s daughter.
Mariko Bennett in her address explained to them that “after the vision is clearly identified, goals that are aligned with the visions are set, and action steps are taken to reach the goals and visions set.”
She stated that per her research only 8% of people actually reach and achieve their goals they set, 92% never do, a situation she noted must be reversed.
What accounts for the mass failure in achieving goals, she attributed it to lack of clear goals, unrealistic expectations, fear of failure, distractions, lack of resources and among others.
Mariko Bennett urged the students to practically put into action what she and her team has thought them right from the secondary education, and never to be distracted by their peers.
She brought some gifts of books and other educational materials, which include The Blueprint: To Manifest Your Dreams, which she authored.
The books were received by the head mistress of Mancell Senior High/Technical School, Lydia Osei Owusu, which she graciously thanked Mariko and her team.
