This action of his, he admitted drew attention of the bodyguards of John Mahama to himself with one of them following up a with dirty slap to his face.

“After slapping me and threatening to kill me, a lecturer in my school who sensed danger from the two bodyguards asked that i moved out of the auditorium which I agreed only to be rounded up and beaten like a petty thief in front of the school’s auditorium”, the student narrated with visible pain.

Details:

The student stated that the beatings from the bodyguards have led to severe bodily pains including abdominal ones.

He disclosed that he had undergone a hernia operation recently and the beatings have led to the injury becoming rapturous.

Master Asiedu also claimed that an amount of 3, 000.00 and his earpods were stolen in the ensuing melee.

“The area where i had the hernia operation has become rapturous and the sum of 3000gh as well as my ear pods were stolen during attack on my person and i am in deep pain as i speak to you”, the student stated.

Director of Communications:

Paul Kwabena Yandoh, NPP Communications Director for Ashanti condemned the attack on the student.

He wondered why assigns of the former President were acting wicked and barbaric.

Mr Yandoh said once the lecture was in a school compound and in an intellectual atmosphere the assigns of the NDC flag-bearer even if the student erred should have acted sane.

“We in the NPP condemn this barbaric attack on this student who identifies himself with our party and we call for the condemnation of same from the NDC leader, party and the School. We also pray that the necessary remedial actions be taken by the security agencies as well as the court so that such inhumane actions do not fester in the country as it prepares for the upcoming general elections”, Mr Yandoh said.
