The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has made a bold promise to complete all projects initiated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti region if they are elected into office.
According to the NDC, this commitment is part of their plan to ensure continuity and avoid abandoning projects midway at the nation’s expense.
The party said this move is an assurance that the people in the Ashanti region deserve more than what the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can offer them.
The NDC Member of Parliament (MP) for Buem constituency in the Oti region, Hon Kofi Adams, made the promise when he was hosted on Otec FM’s morning show ‘Nyansapo’, hosted by Isaac Osei Akokto, on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
“Voters who are concerned about the fate of ongoing projects in the Ashanti region can rest assured that the NDC, under the leadership of John Mahama, will continue all projects in the region,” Kofi Adams assured.
“The NDC has developed the region more than the NPP and enjoys a monopoly in terms of electoral votes; in terms of transportation, aviation, markets, education, roads, and many more. But what has the NPP done in Ashanti? Absolutely nothing,” he clarified.
Kofi Adams believed that the dissatisfaction expressed by the people in the Ashanti region on the poor performances of the NPP will manifest during the December 7 general elections, and
He reassured the people in the region that the NDC, which always brings infrastructural developments, will keep its promise of not abandoning them if voted into political power.
