Oforikrom: Conflagration destroys12-Bedroom House, 18 Left Homeless in Ayeduase

A devastating fire has razed a 12-bedroom house at Ayeduase in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region, leaving 18 people without a home.

 The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, January 9, 2025.

According to the Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Atobra Justice, who spoke to OTEC News Reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng, fortunately, no casualties have been recorded.

 However, the fire destroyed properties worth several thousands of cedis.

Fire officials responded swiftly to the scene and were able to bring the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to other households.

The cause of that massive conflagration is yet to be determined.
