Ashanti Regional Police Commander vows to apprehend perpetrators of Nyinahin clash
The Ashanti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Emmanuel Teye Cudjoe, has assured the people of Nyinahin in the Atwima Mponua District that law enforcement agencies, in collaboration with the military, will identify and apprehend those responsible for a recent violent clash that resulted in one death and two injuries.
The clash occurred when a military vehicle came into contact with a group of youth on their way to bury a friend, leading to a fatal altercation.
Speaking at a meeting with chiefs and elders at the Nyinahin Palace, DCOP Cudjoe emphasized that security forces would leave no stone unturned in identifying the individuals responsible for the violent act.
DCOP Cudjoe expressed deep concern over the incident and vowed to take swift action to ensure justice for the victims and peace for the community.
He reassured residents that his office would work closely with local authorities and stakeholders to restore stability and prevent similar incidents in the future.
The community’s leadership welcomed the police commander’s visit and assurances, urging residents to remain calm and patient as law enforcement agencies carry out their investigation.
The Ashanti Regional Police Command has promised to keep the public updated on the progress and outcome of the case, stressing that justice will be served for the victims and their families.
